Sample Logic Rumble puts the awesome power of the legendary Blue Devils marching drum corps in your DAW. In typical Sample Logic fashion, you not only get supremely high-fidelity instruments, but also jaw-dropping morphing that makes Rumble a must-have if you do film scoring. Captured at Skywalker Sound with close, mid, and distant mic placements, these meticulously crafted multi-dynamic samples include round-robins to give you precise control. You also get transitions, atmospheres, and rhythms to further juice your productions. Whether you’re a composer, musician, or educator – thunderous cinematic percussion can be yours with Sample Logic Rumble.

Sample Logic Rumble Marching Drum Sample Library / Virtual Instrument Features at a Glance:

  • The real deal
  • Boatloads of control
  • Sick morphs

The real deal

For the Rumble sessions at Skywalker Sound, Sample Logic tapped the creative genius of Scott Johnson – one of the most sought after marching percussion arrangers in the world. Actual Blue Devil drum corps units – including their instruments – were brought in to create their thunderous magic. At the Neve board? Noted scoring engineer Leslie Ann Jones. Needless to say, these samples are first class, all the way.

Boatloads of control

Sample Logic’s Rumble interface is intense, giving you amazing sound-shaping flexibility. Each instrument has its own console, complete with EQ and effects. With the non-morphed instruments, you even get to choose the mic position – using the faders to blend between close, mid, or distant microphones. Now, how cool is that?

Sick morphs

In true Sample Logic fashion, Rumble gives you the ability to seque into a morphed sonic realm. The library includes both “straight” and morphed instruments; how you use them is up to you. As with most Sample Logic offerings, Rumble’s outer limits are immensely engaging – but not for the faint of heart.
