Analogue Drums – PopSticks (WAV, EXS, NKI, Battery)

By | March 1, 2017

PopSticks is a tasty four-piece ’60s vintage Slingerland maple set, complete with Radio King snare. It has a natural played-in tone, with enough clarity to work in a contemporary mix, or it’ll go retro if that’s where you need to go. Close mic and room mic options give plenty of scope to fine tune the ambient balance. Tracked through a ’74 Neve desk onto a nice thick roll of tape.

Multi-sampling: up to 48 velocity layers (see specific number of velocity layers under Sampling details below).

Instrument interface: with volume controls, mic layer balance, pan and tuning controls.

Mic layers: Room mics and closemics/overheads separately controlable.

MIDI Layout: switchable between Keyboard.GM and eKit/V-Drum layout.

Flexible output routing: “multi” mapping provided for flexible routing to your DAW

Sensitivity control: increase the sensitivity of the kit for more intricate and subtle performances or leave it set to full dynamic range for more agressive tracks.

Presets: for quickly changing sounds.

Compression: limit dynamics when using stereo mode.
