MPC Samples – Monosole: Tape to Dub Plate Vol.6 – Brush Bap (WAV)

MPC Samples presents the fifth place in a series of royalty drum beats and drama breaks recorded directly on the tape mixed with the use of analog attachments, mastered on “dub in plate 12 and finally sampled to retreat from vinyl. Volume six contains 204 original drum breaks created with the help of a brush, the pace is in the range of 85 to 100 beats per minute, and have been specifically chosen to represent the boom of the BAP genre.Each gap is provided as a master of pre-vinyl chloride and vinyl pressing version.Recorded directly on by using three microphones, a close microphone on the barrel, a close microphone on the small drum and an upper analogue tape microphone. Mixed using analog compressors and equalizers before being sent to the Neumann screw cutting machine.

mastered to a 7 “vinyl dub plate at 45rpm

Volume six contains 204 original drum breaks created using brushes. The tempos range from 85 to 100 bpm, and were specifically selected to represent the boom bap genre. Each break is provided as a pre-vinyl master and a vinyl-pressed version.
Recorded directly on an analogue tape using three microphones, a close mic on the kick drum, a close mic on the snare and an overhead mic. Mixed using analogue compressors and eq’s before being sent to a Neumann cutting lathe. Performed and engineered by Timmy Rickard.
