Description : CZ V models the Casio CZ-101 and CZ-1000, two iconic synthesizers behind many of the 80s pop hits. It adds a ton of new features that make it a tool for ages. Casio digital synthesizers in the mid-80s were light in price and great in sound. Listen to it and your music will become really big with the new, improved CZ V.
Like you, we love synthesizers for every taste. That’s why we just had to recreate the true essence of Casio’s patented phase distortion synthesis, which made their CZ series so popular. You do not need to understand how phase distortion works – just let your ears hear how cool and unique it will sound in your music.
As you would expect from the entire V Arturia collection, our enhancements turn CZ into even more formidable sonic power that can transform your music.
Released in 1984, the CZ-101 was Casio’s answer to the hugely popular Yamaha DX7. It was much cheaper and it was much easier to program than a competitor. Instead of frequency modulation, Casio phase distortion (PD) used various user-selected signals to modulate the synchronization of simple carrier waves at the cycle level to create more complex waveforms. This simplified form of digital synthesis made it relatively easy to refine a wide range of tones, covering warm pads, natural percussion, a humming figure, sci-fi effects, and even analog synthesizers.
Although the PD may sound like FM, it also has a unique sound feature. The CZ sound helped draw the attention of artists such as Salt-N-Pepa, Was (Not Was) and Vince Clarke. Let’s add your name to this list.

Release note:

It’s an early Christmas for Mac users! I spent 50 plus man hours reversing these Arturia plugins, much more if we don’t count just this past week. It was by far the most requested in my PMs despite me owning legit V collection 7. A huge amount of work goes into this and the measly 2-3 dollars I get from downloads makes it very difficult sometimes as I have to dedicate whole days to these things, 12 hours plus, and lose spending time working making music or spending time with my family so if you want to support me and allow me to continue to release more in the future please consider supporting me by buying a premium account through my referral links in the Support Me.txt file
Some notes about the plugins – testing in Ableton Live 10 some of the VST3 plugins crash when you delete them from a track, this is a problem for legit users too. VST and AU are not affected despite the AU wrapping the VST3 plugin – more reason to just switch to AU full time so you can use Live 10.1.4 too. AAX is working as it is wrapping the VST3 in Library / Arturia / PRODUCT NAME. Do not remove Arturia Software Center. Make sure to read instructions carefully – CASHMERE
