Description : Dear Reality’s state-of-the-art algorithms have been the backbone of 3D audio production for many years. Now, for the first time, their spatial processing is available in an all-in-one plugin for your DAW: dearVR pro. Say goodbye to expensive, bulky software packages and complex routing schemes. All the tools you need to create stunning, immersive 3D audio for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) videos, movies and games are included in dearVR pro’s powerful yet fast and intuitive interface.

Two operating modes let you choose how to work. Simply drag the mouse pointer using the plug-in’s graphic XYZ pad to position the track’s sound anywhere in the 3D sound space: behind or in front of the listener, above or below the head, left or right, closer or farther. Or use separate sliders to adjust altitude, bearing and distance from the listener. dearVR provides 46 vibrant virtual acoustic environments featuring realistic 3D placement and depth in which object sound can be placed and moved in real time. Among the many options to choose from are concert halls, car interiors, rooms of various sizes, church, basement, stairwell, bathroom, cabin, warehouse, arena, street and live stage. Each environment can be called instantly and independently for each plugin instance, allowing you to place the sound of each object in a different space.

You can change the shape, size, and texture of your chosen virtual space with controls that adjust its size, damping, and balance of early reflections and reverb diffusion. In Realtime Auralization mode, turn the six knobs to adjust the distance from the listener of the four walls, ceiling, and floor in your virtual space accordingly; as you move your sound around, the delay time and direction of arrival of early reflections bouncing off virtual boundaries change – just like in real life. The Occlusion control allows you to adjust the sound of an object to match the occlusion by another virtual object relative to the listener. And if the track’s audio doesn’t move in perfect sync with the corresponding visual, you can adjust its animation curve using separate scaling controls for the azimuth and distance parameter ranges to make the presentation and audio match flawlessly.

DearVR pro outputs high-quality 3D audio in seven formats (including audio for YouTube and Facebook 360-degree videos) to meet all professional requirements for any VR or AR production. Select 2-channel binaural for fully immersive playback using conventional headphones. Or choose 4-channel, 9-channel or 16-channel Ambisonics output in AmbiX or Furse Malham (FuMA) format. The plug-in’s 46 master virtual acoustic environments can also be used as regular reverbs in 2D stereo mixes, doubling their effectiveness in music production.

Key features :
State-of-the-art processing allows any multitrack session to be mixed in 3D, delivering a true to life immersive soundscape with binaural or Ambisonic playback
No ancillary software or external routing is required—all processors are contained in a single plugin
Position and move an object’s sound in real time in a virtual 3D environment using a graphical XYZ pad or separate sliders for adjusting the sound’s azimuth, elevation and distance to the listener
Includes 46 vivid virtual acoustic environments to choose from, each independently recallable per plugin instance
Controls for virtual environments adjust their size; damping; balance of early reflections and diffuse reverb; and distance of walls, ceiling and floor to listener
Powerful Realtime Auralization mode continually changes the delay times and directions of arrival for early reflections as you move an object’s sound around in its virtual space
Occlusion control realistically adjusts the sound of an object being blocked by another virtual object in line of sight to the listener
Separate controls scale parameter ranges for azimuth and distance to maintain perfect sync between audio and corresponding virtual objects in motion
Outputs audio in different eight formats: 2-channel binaural (for 3D playback using standard headphones); 4-channel first order, 9-channel second order and 16-channel third order Ambisonics output in either AmbiX or Furse Malham (FuMA) format; and 2D stereo
