Description : Embark on an expedition through the rich soundscape of Turkey and parts of Egypt and Iran led by musicians trained at the Istanbul Conservatory of Music. The trio will play traditional melodies with quarter tones and folk melodies from all over Turkey. They created these sounds using traditional Turkish instruments: bendir, daf, darbuka and rik for percussion; flutes kaval, kaval and ney and zurna plus duduk for wind instruments; and electric baglama.
