Description :
Monosole Music presents the fifth in a series of royalty-free drum beats and drama breaks recorded directly to tape, mixed using analog outboards, mastered on the ‘dub in platter 12’. 4th Afrobeat inspired drum and percussion breaks, ranging from 80 to 133 beats per minute and each up to 8 bars in length.Recorded directly to one using overhead and one drum mic drum beat and one mic for each analog tape percussion track – each of these individual mic stems is also included with each vinyl master, giving a total of 193 loops. Mixed using analog compressors, EQs and spring reverbs before being sent to the Neumann screw cutter.

Monosole Music presents the fifth in a series of royalty free drum hits and drum breaks recorded directly to tape, mixed using analogue outboard gear, mastered onto a 12″ dub plate. and finally sampled back off of the vinyl.
Volume five contains 40 original 1970’s afrobeat inspired drum and percussion breaks, ranging from 80 to 133 bpm and each up to 8 bars in length. Recorded directly onto analogue tape using one overhead and one kick drum microphone for the drum kit, and one microphone for each percussion track – each of these individual microphone stems is also included along with each vinyl master, giving a total of 193 loops.
Mixed using analogue compressors, eq’s and a spring reverb before being sent to a Neumann cutting lathe. Performed and engineered by Timmy Rickard.
